贫困、收入差距与城镇居民健康

摘要：

本文利用2006年中国东、中、西部9个省份的家庭调查数据,研究收入、收入差距、相对收入和城镇居民健康之间的关系。结果显示,健康状况随着个人收入的增加而改善,但不呈现明显的非线性关系;当收入不变时,收入差距与健康之间呈现倒"U"型,收入差距较小时,收入差距对健康产生有利的影响;同一群体中,在经济上处于劣势地位的人群可能会通过物质和心理的因素,与较差的健康产出相联系。

Based on household enquiry data from 9 provinces in east, middle and west China in 2006.the paper probes into the relations between income, income difference, relative income and health of town dwellers, The result shows that health level will be improved with the increase of personal income and their relation appears a distinct nonlinear.When income stays at the same level, the relation between income difference and health can be represented with a reversed U-shape curve, income difference has positive impact on health when it is relatively small.In the same group, the ones who are inferior economically may have worse health condition resulting from physical and mental factors.
