The article show the logic of the current system in two-way interactively through implementation and diagnosis of social security in three districts of Beijing and overall judgment on peasants their own system. Farmers put high demands for urban social security convergence especially for the following three items, new rural old-age insurance, new rural cooperative medical care and subsistence allowances in rural areas. However, there is st ill a large gap between the present system and ideal model.
