There is a complicated relationship between population factor and environment, which has been an important research topic in academic field. However, there still are a lot of misunderstandings on concepts and comprehension of the topic research. The paper begins with some basic concepts, and analyzes the mutual effect style and influenced mechanism between population and environment, and points out that the population impact on environment is reflected during the process of population dynamic change, the result of the change shows two basic functions towards environment through social and economic medium_multiple and stimulation. Finally the paper gives a framework of interaction between population and environment.
