Based on the survey data in Beijing, this paper describes the psychological status of migrant children in public school and migrant school, and analyzes the effects of individual and households characteristics on the psychological status. The results shows that, comparatively, the psychological status of migrant children in migrant school is much better, which reflects the reasonability of migrant school's existing on the view of the development of migrant children. The relative department of government is responsible to give some support and instruction to migrant schools, which are on the process of development and competing blindness and aimless. Meanwhile, the fact, which the psychological status of resident children is worse, should be paid much attention, which is the negative effect of enrolling migrant children in public school. So, the authority of public school should take some effective measures to prevent. Nevertheless, the evaluation of psychological status and its consequences should be further studied.
