Of the 16942 women who received gynecological checkup, 20.77% were found having gynecological diseases. Great disparities exist in the rate of having gynecological disease by region and by age:town vs, country, middle area vs. western area vs. eastern area, minor nationality vs. Han nationality. The factors intluencing women's reproductive health include women's behavior and social circumstance, involving women's personal characteristics, the marital status, pregnancy status, contraception status, consciousness of health care, propaganda and education. The results indicate as follows:(1) to enhance health awareness and improve the ability of health care are the efficiency methods for preventing RTIS; (2) to strengthen the health care in rural area, the middle and western area; (3) to attach great importance on education, especially for women.
