Due to the lack of real wor th of land security, the traditional pattern of family security has changed greatly, so the people has begun to pay attention to the aged support using personal savings.It is a question of whether this saving pattern of the rural residents in south of Jiangsu province can bear all the costs of living for the ag ed.This paper plans to estimate the pattern s capability of providing for the aged by forming a balanced model of the aged support with the personal savings.
