The rapid development of urbanization also accelerated the migrant population occupational differentiation. This paper discusses the relationship between wages mechanism, labor relations and the changes between the occupational hierarchies. Research shows that the upward occupational mobility of the migrant is affected by both the wage mechanism and labor relations, and there is a mutually reinforcing relationship between the three. Wage mechanism alone had no significant effect on the migrant population in the occupational hierarchy upward mobility. According to the conclusions of the study, the mechanism by constructing a stable and solid wage labor relations could slow the flow of migrant population occupational upward pressure.
