贸易开放、要素禀赋与就业增长—基于中国省际面板协整的实证研究

摘要：

本文借鉴国际贸易模型和失业搜寻模型分析框架, 利用省际面板数据, 对中国改革开放以来贸易开放对就业的效应进行实证研究。研究发现, 贸易开放对就业没有直接影响, 贸易开放对就业的间接影响则取决于一个地区的要素禀赋:若一个地区的资本-劳动比率偏高, 贸易开放将减少就业;反之, 若一个地区的资本-劳动比率偏低, 贸易开放则有可能增加就业。

In this paper, we adopt the models of international trade and search unemployment. Using China's inter-provincial panel data this paper analyzed how trade openness affects employment since China has started reform and opening. We found that there's no direct effect of trade openness on employment while the indirect effect of trade openness on employment depend on the factor endowments of a region:if the capital-labor ratio of a region is relatively high, trade openness would reduce employment while if the capital-labor ratio of a region is relatively low, trade openness would increase employment.
