In the paper, a comprehensive indices design is made from the terms of total quantity indices and analysis indices, and by referring to the experience of International Labor Organization while considering the existing statistical method and system in China.The paper then expounds the source of the data and analytical procedure, and puts forward that the research of labor market supply indices system should be established on full, accurate and reliable materials.In order to get a real-time supply condition of the labor market, it is imperative to improve the labor force survey system, extend indices required, and reform the current indices survey method, giving priority to sample survey.By so doing, the demand of information, consultation and supervision can be met.
