The paper introduces major content of social responsibility international standard system (SA8000), including child labor、compelled work, health and safety, freedom of associat ion and collective negotiation right, discrimination, reprimand measures, working hours, wage and management system. Currently, the majority of Chinese enterprisespunderstanding of this new global moral standard is not adequate. The paper analyses the reason why very few Chinese enterprises have got this certificate, and tries to show entrepreneurs the benefits they will get if they follow SA8000 standards in operation from the perspective of human resource management.
