A research on the subjective living quality of migrant workers and its influencing factors is made based on the enquiry data of the living quality of migrant workers in Pudong New Area of Shanghai in 2006. The analytic result shows that over 1/3 migrant workers are satisfied with their overall living quality. Marital status, monthly average income, residence type and health status have the significant effect on whether they satisfied with their overall living quality, while gender, age, education level and resident time have less significant effect. Satisfact ion Rate of Work and Security and Satisfact ion Rate of Living Environment, get from factor analysis, have the most prominent significant effect on their overall satisfaction rate.
