There is inverted_U relationship between educational expansion and educational distribution, which means educational expansion enlarges inequality of education at initial stage, and reduces inequality of education at last. But during the period of expansion, the effect of educational expansion is not determinate, which is non_linearity relationship 'like-hump'. That is, educational expansion can reduce education gap while widening it then. Based on the theoretical analysis, this paper presents the empirical evidence from China according to a panel data. The findings indicate that educational expansion plays a significant role in equaling the education distribution.
