This paper examines the differences in characteristics,working conditions and incomes caused by gender of the non-local labor force in developed rural regions of Jiangsu province.It analyses the unequal treatment in the employment and the working places faced by the female and the causes.The main conclusions are following:there is a large income gap between men and women non-local labors, one of the important reasons is the sexual discrimination besides educational and regional differences.The employment system in the developed rural area should be further normalized.The market barrier limiting the mobility of labors should be eliminated in time.The comprehensive management and service for this part of labor force should be strengthened.A good condition of free mobility for the labors should be created.
